The poor guy was euthanized as expected. The fence was abutting a neighborhood.....all I can think is what if a kid had come along and stuck a hand in there! It must've been very tough picking up the one in the trap. Those things can do a lot of damage. I once picked up a great horned owl in one of those things. Not only was his leg mangled, but both of his wings were broken from beating them trying to escape. I only wish that the people who use these horrible things would realize the pain and damage that they inflict and would stop!
