Finally!!! A sunny day off!

I finally managed to end up with a day off that was sunny to work on the new cage!
Started the day with some coffee.....
....Made a couple of phone calls....

...then fed and played with the babies for a while.

Then on to the 3 that were last moved into the shed. Flipper, Willy and Einstein ran around wreaking havoc as usual while I cleaned their cage.....

And finally....to the new cage with the 10 little devils that are more than ready for a bigger cage! I got Goldie and the 3 bears out there along with Razz & Diesel's group. Throw in a little decor like trees, branches, a den box and other various fun things to climb on and play in....

....and oh what a fun time for all!!! All 10 use the den box and the litter boxes they way they should and are now permanently out there and as thrilled as can be about it.

Raquel Raccoon joins the family.

Here we have the very adorable Raquel. She was brought to me by the same ACO that brought me RJ and her little step-brother that died of liver problems. Like RJ, Raquel also lost her little brother before making her way here. But as you can see here she is doing great so far! She is miserable being alone while in quarantine so I bring her out to play when I get the chance to keep her company.....and she Loves it!

Mommy????

When her quarantine is up she will probably join Flipper, Willy and Einstein as she is closest to their size and development.

3 more in the mix!

Ok....Goldie & the 3 bears-Grizzly, Kodiak & Panda are fast friends with Razz and his group Diesel et al. Group chow time and playtime in the shed are a blast!

So now that River, Baloo, Scootch and RJ are now permanently in the smaller outdoor pen there is more room in the shed!

So the 3 little kids found in a driveway by a very awesome family in Framingham have joined the shed gang! Flipper (because raccoons do sound like dolphins, you have to admit!) Willie, and Einstein (not! LOL) are in the recently vacated pen in the shed getting used to the crazy gang. After feeding time for the others, they get their bottles and some playtime while the others are back in their pens so they can all get used to each other.

Einstein is more interested in the log than all the other coonies trying to get his attention!

Dad is busy working on another outdoor pen appropriate for the little kids....there are way too many for the smaller pen River & company are using so an emergency building session has begun!

The new cage.

Here's the man of the hour! Dad got the cage pretty much done. Just a few more minor things and we're good to go! I'm already decorating the inside...
And not a moment too soon! The kids are wreaking havoc in the shed!
Razz's new thing is to literally climb up mom, crawl onto my back and yank the crap out of my ponytail! The more I take him off and put him down, the more he tries to do it

Hmmmm...what's in this box??

The little monkey's get everywhere now! It's only a matter of time before they actually figure out how to work the microwave and heat their own formula up!
