Trouble in the woods.

I found this poor unfortunate girl out in the woods. She was a small juvenile and I am pretty confident she was suffering from rabies, although since there was no exposure we will not be testing. She did also have a large tumor like mass on her belly. I'm not sure if it was an actual tumor, or possibly over granulation to a wound that may have been the source of the rabies. Unfortunately there was not the opportunity to investigate further and regardless of any of it, it was definitely time to end her suffering. Not a happy ending like we would have preferred, but at least we were able to bring her peace sooner.
