This years calendar.

Well, I've been working on this years calendar in between everything else that's been going on! It's not all raccoons this year. I figured we should show of some of the many other very adorable wild ones that we deal with! What do ya think!?

The squirrel overwinters.

Here is the crew of 7 squirrels that will be spending the winter. They have been moved into a roomy outdoor enclosure and are loving it! Lots of trees and branches to climb, leaves to collect and dirt to dig in. They should have plenty of time over the winter to fatten up and be ready for a spring release.

Third time's a charm....

Last but not least....the Dighton 4, Little Rascals, Mason, Cinder, Champ, Milly, Bossy and Fluff are on their big journey! What started as a miserable, rainy day turned into a warm sunny day and we were good to go! Thanks to everyone who helped us lug all the carriers across a swamp. Not fun, but it was worth it as you can see.........

Good luck my little fur butts! The nest is pretty much empty, all in one weekend! I'm happy I don't have the mess to clean every day, and happy to see them having so much fun out there, still...... sad to see them go!
