NEW ARC

Release updates!

Well things have been a little crazy around here, so I apologize for not posting much lately!
One of the many things I've been working on is getting this years calendar together. With so many cute animals, and sooooo many pictures.....how the heck do you narrow it down to only 13! No easy task for sure, but hopefully these represent!!! I'm a little annoyed in that Vistaprint lets me share the link with you, leading me to believe you can see the whole calendar, but all it shows you is the cover and only links you to where you can create your own calendar, instead of showing you the rest of ours, so hopefully I'll figure out a way to get the rest for you to link to and see. Even if I have to post the pics individually, I'll figure out a way!

As we head into the weekend, it appears we finally have nice enough weather to release. We are planning on 2 raccoon releases this weekend, meaning come Monday, there should be nothing but empty pens around here. With the exception of Dusty, the whole gang is going this year! Dusty will not be alone though! Once he is ready for company, we'll be picking up a couple late babies thanks to  Dee and Tom at Urban Wildlife Rehabilitation in Springfield. They will come join him here and keep him company....can't have any lonely baby raccoons here!

Also getting released today are the older squirrels out in the release pens...my group of 9 and Laurie's group of 4. Once they have moved on, we have a group that we need to overwinter that will move outside......the cuties you saw munching on the red gooseberries previously.
Then, just maybe, we can slow down a little and recoup!
