A little pool time.

Hey......is that a pool mom's bringin' over here?? Pssssttttt....hey guys, get out here, I think were gettin' the pool back!

OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! IT ISSSSSSSS THE POOL!!!!!!!!!!

OHHHHHH.....AND GRAPES TOO!!!!!!

Oh I have just been DYING to soak my hands again......ahhh that feels soooo good!!

And so all the girls had a thrilling day with a mini pool.....not the usual big pool since the water is not turned on outside yet and I wasn't going to lug buckets into the woods to fill it....but this little tub certainly did the trick!

Ohhhhh thank you SOOOOOO much mom!

And so another little treat over the spring-like weekend was had by all! The boys got it the next day, but it didn't see much action until evening since they were too busy moping in the den box or obsessively pacing in front of the girls!

Oh goody...... A pool!!

Diesel's group was thrilled with the addition of the pool in their pen! Dozer of course has to be in the middle of everything I try to do, so he helped me fill it!
Then Kodiak made his way over to help out too....

Meanwhile the rest of the little piggies made sure they inhaled dinner first!

Grizz chowing away. He's kind of a goofy, crosseyed looking boy!

Diesel watching the pool fill from above..

Razz also watching from above.

Cat after one psycho wrestle round in the pool, ran out and up and around the high parts of the cage, then back down into the pool for another round......

....and tried keeping Dozer from getting back in...

Then it was just a free for all in the pool!! And oh what fun it was to watch!

The pool is open!

The water is turned on, the hoses are hooked up and we have splashdown!!! (Much to the gangs amusement)

The 3 little kids loved their first pool experience!

Thanks Mom!!

Buster & Auntie Mary!

Buster insisted Auntie Mary pick him up!! He was not taking no for an answer either!

Awwwwww!

Now he's a happy boy.

Meanwhile.....Sugar was enjoying laps in the pool! She went back and forth about 4 times. She was actually swimming, not walking in the pool.....it's deeper than it looks, especially when I forget to take the hose out and it starts overflowing!

11 little maniacs having fun!

Finally some good (by that I mean at least is was dry...no torrential rain and thunder storms) weather! I took the opportunity to add some fun to the big release cage out back. A huge pine tree came down in the woods so with a little help from dad and his chain saw, the gang got some new branches to climb and play on. Now instead of the usual flat shelves, they have a more natural, horizontal plane to run and climb on.

Of course, it took them a while to figure it out!!! Ha ha!!

But once they figured out how to climb ON TOP of the branches instead of under them, there was no holding them back!!

Throw in some chicken wings................

And a new, big pool.....yahooooooooo...........

.............and boy what a fun time was had by all! Yes, that is a slide on the pool...and Buster was the first to learn (much to his dismay!) that step on that the right way, and all the way into the pool you go....like it or not!

Rollo and Quinny are here now too so I'll be figuring out how to integrate them into one of the groups soon. That will be interesting! The work on Mary's pen has already begun, so once that is done and the older gang is moved over there I'll have a little more room to work with here.

Fishing, grapes & a walk in the woods.

Well the gang had a blast fishing for minnows the other day! No one ate any of them....but they sure enjoyed catching them then playing with them! The water turned muddy pretty fast with all 11 getting in on it.

Tosser with his catch! (or rather the catch he stole!!)

Surprisingly, Tosser was the most excited! He kept running down, grabbing a fish (usually from someone else after they fished it out!) and bringing it up to play with it on a shelf. He did this about 5 times.....back and forth....back and forth! What a riot to watch!
Here he is running up a tree to a shelf away from everyone after stealing someones fish! Too funny!!

Stinky chills....he lost interest pretty quickly....once they stopped wiggling!

The excitement of fishing set the mood....it was all out craziness for a while after the fishing!

Nosey says "Thanks for the fish mom!"

Tugger with her "crazy, I'm gonna pounce on you" look.

Mmmmmmmm.....yummy grapes!!
