NEW ARC

North East Wildlife Animal Rehabilitation Coalition is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization. We are a group of licensed wildlife rehabilitators, and these are the tales of the injured and orphaned animals we care for until they are able to be released back into the wild.

Peek a Boo!

Here's our little Tosser! He is growing like a weed and now his eyes are completely open. Awww!

Laurie and I are going to release the overwinters this afternoon. They are going to love it out there! Buster and Seeker are doing great also.

Another little boy was brought to me yesterday afternoon. Mom was hit by a car on Thursday and a little baby finally wiggled out of the nest somewhere and was found on the ground. He's been a long time without mom and is in the process of being re hydrated. Barring any complications, he should be fine. He's drinking the re hydration fluids well and although it's diarrhea, he is pooping and peeing well.
